Face of Comedy
The Sixties
Totie Fields

Ink, Dye and Grease Pencil

She was good natured, perky and at one time the most popular female comic in America. The image is painted softly in pastel tones that contrast with the black ink. The modelling is achieved with a black pencil on textured board to create a loose, grainy look.
